The area is very interesting from the environmental and cultural point of view. Around here there are many places of interests: sanctuaries, abbeys, monasteries, small medieval villages. At the same time you can enjoy visit to rome or other interesting places. In poggio mirteto there are tennis field and sporting centres, open-air or indoor swimming pools,hot springs are near and you can enjoy bird-watching, cycling or walking in a natural oasis on the tiber banks.
